Updated Potential Conflict of Interest Review Process
When a potential conflict of interest has been identified, the Purchasing and Contract Management Office will work directly with the unit to obtain all documentation needed for review by the Chief Procurement Office for Higher Education. Once the review is complete and appropriate signatures obtained on the required State form, the Chief Procurement Officer or State Procurement Officer will forward the signed form, and any other necessary documentation to the Procurement Policy Board and the Commission on Equity and Inclusion. In accordance with the objectives of subsection Sec. 50-35.
Due to the newly added review step for the Commission on Equity and Inclusion, units will need to plan accordingly for a possible extended review period.
